Remember being supportive involves offering encouragement and hope. Talk to them in the language they understand and respond to while in a depressed state of mind. Tell them how important they are, ask if there’s anything you can do to help. Let them know they are not alone, you are there during that tough time and mostly show them love. Do not neglet your own health while helping, it can become overwhelming.
